Twine Commissions / 2013-2017 / various clients
Between 2013 and 2017 I made several different interactive stories in Twine for different clients: some as unreleased prototypes, and three for public releases.
Castle, Forest, Island, Sea (2013), illustrated by Martina Paukova and made as part of Hide&Seek, was commissioned by the Open Unviersity; it’s a game that takes 45 minutes or so to play through, and which explores different ideas of reason and action in philosophy.
The Wind and the Weather (2016), made as part of Matheson Marcault, is a ten-minute game looking at Amy Johnson’s attempt to break the record for flying from England to Australia. It was made for the Amy Johnson Festival and can be played online.
One Night in Skegness (2017), made as part of Matheson Marcault, was a time-travel game exploring the history of Skegness at different key moments, and the evolution of British seaside entertainment alongside the changes in Skegness.
